| Description |
A keyboard layout script defines what data is entered by each key of the keyboard. It is also referred to as a keyboard mapping file since it maps each key to a specified character.
KBD files can be used to apply custom key mappings to Windows. They may be used for typing in a foreign language or for programming purposes.
