The Drawing Exchange Format (DXF) is a CAD file format developed by Autodesk. It stores 3D model information in an ASCII text format. DXF files are similar to .DWG files, the native format used by AutoCAD for many years. However, the text-based structure of the DXF format makes DXF files more compatible with other CAD programs. |
