The OMF file format is an audio and video interchange format developed by Avid Technology. It used for transferring data between multiple media editing applications. For example, by exporting a project from Apple Final Cut Pro as an OMF file, you can open the project in Digidesign Pro Tools. OMF files contains references to audio and video files as well as track data. They support volume and pan information, and other track settings. |
