Storage Capacity

Example: "If you have a lot of media files, it is important to have a computer with a large storage capacity."

Storage capacity is another term for "disk space." It measures how much data a computer system may contain. For example, a computer with two 750GB hard drives has a storage capacity of 1.5TB. Storage capacity is commonly included in the technical specifications of a system, along with processing power and memory. It is possible to increase the storage capacity of most systems by adding additional internal or external hard drives.
