Metaverse

The metaverse is a virtual 3D environment that simulates reality. It allows you to enter an online world where you can meet and interact with other people. You can choose a custom avatar to represent you in the online world.

In order to access the metaverse, you need a virtual reality (VR) headset and an Internet connection. Several VR games have provided an glimpses of what the metaverse could be, but none have become mainstream. In 2019, Meta (formerly Facebook) announced plans to create a new metaverse, which may boost the popularity of the virtual world.
