A real life logo!

October 5, 2005 – by Per Christensson

Sharpened.net has been around for over six years and has never had a logo. Amazing, I know. It is especially surprising since when I was younger, I would spend much of my time in the classroom drawing logos for other companies. Maybe that's why I always had trouble knowing what was on the tests.

In any case, I finally developed a logo, which you see at the top of the screen. It is the fusion of two enigmatic shapes, much like the yin-yang, which together form the outline of an "S". You can think of the two shapes as knowledge and technology. When they come together, they create understanding. And that is the goal of Sharpened.net.

Hopefully you like the new logo, since it is now on every page within the Sharpened.net website. If nothing else, it sure beats the plain old text that I've been using for the past six years.
