Description |
A BSP file is a map file used by Doom, Quake, and other games that use the Quake engines. It uses binary space partitioning (BSP) to generate levels with minimal polygons. BSP files are similar to .MAP files, but define the edges of objects in the map rather than the hollow areas. They include all the information necessary to display the map except for the textures. |
