Most C++ source code files have a .CPP extension. However, Xcode includes several source files with a ".cp" file extension. These files can be included in programming projects using the #include directive.
Xcode is Apple's software development package for authoring programs for Mac OS X. It includes an IDE for writing source code and a program called Interface Builder for creating graphical interfaces.
