Description

The EML format is used to store e-mail messages for Outlook Express and several Unix-based e-mail programs. Each EML file is a standard plain text file that includes the e-mail header information and the body of the message.

Info About Microsoft Outlook Express

Outlook Express is an e-mail client that was included with Internet Explorer and standard Windows installations. It includes basic e-mail composition and organization features, but does not include all the features of the full version of Outlook.

The last version of Outlook Express was included with Internet Explorer 6 and has since been replaced by Windows Live Mail.
