Description |
An FDX file is a movie script created with Final Draft version 8 or later. It includes formatted text and script notes, as well as custom page layout data. The content is stored in a standard XML format, which can be viewed in a basic text editor.
Important: Final Draft versions 5 through 7 saved scripts with an .FDR extension. The "FDX" extension introduced in version 8 indicates the file contains XML data.
