Description |
Financial data format standardized by Intuit, Microsoft, and CheckFree in 1997; created as an open format for transferring financial data between multiple systems over the Internet; formatted using an SGML specification that can be used by any financial institution or vendor.
When it was introduced in 1997, the Open Financial Exchange (OFX) format replaced the Open Financial Connectivity (.OFC) format used by Microsoft Money.
