Description

Ogg is an open source container format developed by the Xiph.Org Foundation. It is designed primarily for storing streaming media.

OGV files contain video data that may be encoded with a variety of different codecs. They can be played by several different media players, as long as the software includes the appropriate video codec.

Important: Ogg Vorbis video files may also be saved with an .OGM file extension.
