The Windows Address Book is a data file created, referenced, and updated by Outlook Express. It contains a list of contacts with names and e-mail addresses.

Outlook Express is a free email program developed by Microsoft. It is similar to Outlook, but doesn't have as many advanced features. Outlook can also import data from WAB files.
