| Description |
Contains game data used by Call of Duty 2 (CoD2) and Call of Duty 4; may store graphics, weapons, scripts, or other information; compressed using ZIP compression to save disk space. Most IWD files are stored in the "\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty\main\" directory. They can be unzipped using a file decompression program like WinZip and edited with a text editor. Important: Do not manually open IWD files unless you know exactly what changes to make. Altering an IWD file may make it unusable by Call of Duty. |
