| Description |
An SVGZ file is a Scalable Vector Graphics (.SVG) file that has been compressed with the nonproprietary "gzip" compression algorithm. It stores vector graphics data in an XML format. SVGZ files can be saved in Adobe Illustrator by selecting "Save As..." and choosing the SVGZ format. The files are decompressed automatically by Adobe Illustrator and SVG Viewer with no noticeable delay. |
