Election Poll Results

November 5, 2004 — by Per Christensson

With the polls closing on Tuesday, the Sharpened.net Poll closed as well with a total of 252 votes in the 10 days it was active. The poll concluded with John Kerry getting exactly 50% of the vote and George W. Bush getting only 38.9%. Apparently most of the Sharpened.net visitors don't live in the red states! A number of voters were likely from other countries, which could have also led to the discrepancy.

The Sharpened.net Polls are not scientific, but that should be obvious at this point. The presidential sample had an accuracy of +/- 15%, which is about as accurate as monkies throwing blue and red darts at map. That being said, I hope that future polls will be more accurate. So it is with great excitement that I announce a new poll, located on the right side of this page.

This one is a little less political than the previous poll. The question is: What's your favorite kind of music? Vote now!
