Share Your Website Feedback
November 2025 — Tip of the Month
Have you ever visited a website and noticed something you really liked? Maybe you've encountered an error or felt that something on the site could be better. Instead of keeping your thoughts to yourself, share your feedback!
I've been managing websites for over 20 years, and over the past two decades, a large percentage of updates (over half) have been prompted by user feedback. So, if you're wondering if your feedback is helpful, it is!

Most users (over 99%) visit websites without contacting the webmaster. So when website owners get feedback, they generally take it seriously and often reply. You might be surprised how much your feedback can make a difference on the web.
▶ Both positive and negative feedback is helpful. But if you really want to surprise the person in charge of a website, submit a compliment or thank you message. It will make their day! 🙂
How to share your feedback
Nearly every website has a way to share comments with the webmaster. Most websites have a "Contact" link in the footer section at the bottom of each page. Some have a "Contact" link in the top navigation bar. When you click contact, the website might provide an email address or feedback form that you can fill out directly on the webpage.
Regardless of the method, sharing feedback only takes a minute or two. It's well worth the effort since your feedback can make a big difference.
