A TT13 file is a tax return created with the Canadian version of TurboTax 2013. It contains Canadian federal and provincial tax forms as well as information filled out by the user.

The TT13 file allows you to save your work and resume the tax return at a later time. You can also encrypt the data by password-protecting the file. Once you complete a tax return in TurboTax Canada, you may file it online from within the program or print and mail the tax forms.

Important: TurboTax Canada 2012 saved files with the file extension .TT12.
