Description

An ASPX file is an .ASP Web page developed for ASP.NET. It may contain Web scripts written in the VBScript or C# programming languages. Scripts within the page are parsed on the server when accessed by a user. The resulting HTML is included in the page that is sent to the client's Web browser.

ASPX pages may created with Visual Web Developer, which is included with Microsoft's Visual Studio.
