Description

VoiceXML (VXML) is a standard XML format used by interactive voice applications. VXML files can be interpreted by a voice browser, much like an .HTML file is recognized by a Web browser. The contents of a VXML file can be viewed in a text editor.

VXML files define how a computer should interact with a computer. They are commonly used by automated phone answering systems.
