Comments The term "G6" was made popular by the pop song "Like a G6," by Far East Movement. It is short for "Gulfstream G650," a high-speed business jet. While the song refers to the Gulfstream jet, G6 is also a previous Pontiac car model, and is short for "Group of Six," which consists of largest six countries in the European Union.
