An RDT is a conversation between a guy and girl who are dating that is meant to help define the direction of the relationship. It allows both people, through a painful and awkward discussion, to better undersatnd what the other person's expectations for the relationship are. An RDT may be initiated by either the guy or girl, but most of the time is brought up by the girl.
