Description |
Image file created and compressed by Apple QuickTime; sometimes referenced by QuickTime movies (.MOV files); uses the same atom types as a QuickTime movie: "idsc" (contains the image description) and "idat" (contains the image data).
QIF image files use a single fork, not a resource fork and data fork like some Macintosh files, so they work well in cross-platform applications.
