A TLZ file is a combination of a .TAR archive and a compressed .LZ file. It contains one of more files that have been saved as an archived and compressed using Lzip compression.
 About Lzip
Lzip is a lossless file compression utility that uses the LZMA compression algorithm. It has a command line interface similar to gzip and bzip2 and supports greater compression than bzip2. Lzip was initially designed for Unix systems, but has been ported to the Windows and Macintosh platforms as well.
