Partial or incomplete file downloaded with FlashGet, a download management program; created when a download is started and saved as the actual file (with the original extension) when the download is complete.

FlashGet downloads can be resumed if the transfer is interrupted or stopped as long as the file is still available on the server.

The JC extension comes from "JetCar," the original name of the program.
