MIX images files support both vector and raster and may be created with either Microsoft PhotoDraw or the earlier Microsoft Picture It! program. Picture It! was part or Microsoft's Digital Image Suite, while Microsoft PhotoDraw was included with Office 2000.

Important: The last version of PhotoDraw was version 2, which was released at the end of 1999. Microsoft discontinued the Digital Image Suite in 2006, but many of the suite's features were included with Windows Vista.
