Description

Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) is a video format that contains a sequence of frames made up of individual .JPEG images. Common resolutions include 160x120 and 320x240 with a frame rate of 10 to 15 fps.

MJPG files are typically created by mobile phones and digital cameras. However, since M-JPEG uses significantly less efficient compression than the .MPEG format, it is not commonly used.
