Microsoft mail message files are mail files used by Windows NT Mail; they contain mail messages that can be opened using the Windows NT Mail client.

MMF files cannot be imported directly into Outlook Express. However, they can be imported into the Microsoft Exchange client, which reformats the messages for the Exchange client. These messages can then be imported into Outlook Express.
