Description |
Adobe Dreamweaver and Contribute use Design Notes to store descriptive information about files. They are formatted in XML and include information such as the file type, title, status, and description of the file.
MNO files are called Macromedia Design Notes since they were originally used by Dreamweaver when it was developed by Macromedia. Adobe acquired Macromedia, including the Dreamweaver and Contribute programs, in 2005.
Dreamweaver is a professional Web development program while Contribute allows users to collaboratively author, review, and publish content to the Web.
