Description

A SAB file is a three-dimensional model saved in the Standard ACIS Binary (SAB) format. SAB is a standard format and may be used to transfer 3D model data between different CAD software programs.

Each SAB file contains a three-line header, followed by model data and an end marker. It may also include optional history data that can be used to undo changes.

Important: ACIS software can also save models in a text-based format, which uses the .SAT extension.
