Description

An XSB file is a sound bank created with the Microsoft Cross-Platform Audio Creation Tool (XACT). It does not include audio data, but contains instructions for playing sounds and the cues used to invoke them.

XACT is part of the Microsoft DirectX development platform. It is used by designers and programmers to develop audio for video games.
